An Outline (“Beat Sheet”) is a brief synopsis of your entire story. The Outline will typically be two to five pages, and will be concise. The Outline is the ‘definition’ of your script that breaks down the movement of the story, plot point by plot point. The Outline is a great selling tool for an interested party to quickly understand the Hook, Arcs, and Flow of the story.
Film Treatment / Series Bible
A Film Treatment (or Story Treatment)/Series Bible is a detailed summary of your Film, TV Show, or Project.
